Personal and Merchant licences
PERSONAL LICENCE — files and models identified in the order
LaFig grants the holder a personal, non-exclusive, worldwide licence for the protection period of the relevant rights. You may retain, privately adapt and print the files for your own collection and private use, without a private-print quantity limit unless a specific restriction was clearly stated and accepted before purchase.
You may supply only necessary files to a private printing provider for your order, confidentially, without reuse and with deletion after completion. You may not share, publish, distribute or resell files, including modified files, or provide them to a group. Selling prints or derived products requires an appropriate professional licence. Statutory exceptions and the creator’s moral rights remain reserved.
Samples remain subject to this personal licence, including on a Professional account. It covers only acquired models, not future creations. It survives the end of the LaFig–creator partnership; the library service is separate. No term excludes statutory guarantees or removes unrelated purchases following an incident on another order.
PERMANENT MERCHANT LICENCE — pack identified in the order
LaFig grants the purchasing holder a non-exclusive, worldwide, permanent licence for the purchased pack, within the protection period of the relevant rights. You may manufacture by 3D printing and sell physical prints of that pack’s models, without a quantity ceiling or recurring subscription. Adaptations necessary for printing and photographs presenting prints for sale are allowed, respecting the creator’s moral rights.
Only complete packs expressly offering a Merchant option qualify, not smaller personal sub-packs. Professional account status grants no rights to other products. Imported historical licences retain their validated packs and rights without repurchasing.
Sharing, publishing, reselling or sublicensing STL files or modified versions is prohibited. Traditional casting and mould production are not licensed. Secure the files and limit access to people necessary for your production under confidentiality; grant no independent reuse rights to others.
You are responsible for manufacture, safety, labelling, your customer obligations and sale of physical prints. The licence and badge attest permission for the models, not print quality or product safety certification. Public directory display of your business name, logo and licensed packs is optional; private evidence is not published.
The licence is not automatically transferable with an account and does not cover separate new creations. It survives the end of the creator partnership. The minimum five-year library service is not the licence duration and causes no automatic expiry. Mandatory rights and other acquisitions remain protected.
